Training

"Training" and "Learning" are terms that are used more-or-less interchangeably in describing the way a program can improve its performance automatically.  M+O learns when you correct (or at least verify) the audio alignments given by M+O during Rehearsal Review.  When you Save these rehearsals, M+O  uses this information to better understand habits and tendencies of your musical timing for a given piece.  The program's approach to learning is purely statistical,  meaning it understands that music performance is variable, so it doesn't expect you to play the same way each time.   Instead, M+O learns the variability of  elements of your performance.

It is not necessary to train M+O to your particular musical interpretations;  this feature will not be desriable for all users.  But the training capability makes the program function considerably better with "practice," with the difference more noticeable with more advanced players and pieces that require a good deal of rubato.
